Hello from your photographer!

Hey there, and welcome! I am the gal behind the lens, Amanda Walker. Born and raised in the PNW! I am a little sarcastic, a lot dorky, and have an extreme passion for just about anything art related. From shooting photography to drawing pencil art, I have always loved creating something beautiful to share with those around me. 

A bit about me and mine:

I am a single mama of two wild and spirited kiddos. They are just one year apart and keep me on my toes. My daughter, Katie Rose, also shares my love for all things art, especially drawing. My little man, Mason, is non-verbal autistic. I am his number one advocate and I wouldn't change a single hair on his head, even though sometimes he makes me want to rip mine out. (Haha) 

Since verbal cues don't tend to work too well most of the time, I have gotten pretty decent at snapping candids and being a goofball to get even the /quickest/ look in my direction. I'm not afraid of being a little silly to get a smile!

As far as my photography style goes, I LOVE golden hour. If you schedule with me, I will always recommend shooting in the evening so we get that warm, soft light. My photos tend to be warm, bold and rich in color.
